About Us ICSB-MCA is a full service mobile laboratory dedicated to serving all your dog breeding needs. The owners/directors are Bridgett Higginbotham, RVT and Sherian Evans. With over 15 years experience in Veterinary Medicine and breeding and exhibiting dogs, they now offer their expertise to fellow breeders. Bridgett has been a Registered Veterinary Technician for the last 15 years and has always had a special interest in canine reproduction. She has been breeding Bulldogs for 11 years and is currently an AKC judge. Her accomplishments in breeding include: Bulldog Club of America Hall of Fame Status, the breeder/owner/handler of both the 1997 #1 Bulldog and the 1998 Bulldog National Best of Winners. Sherian has been a Veterinary Assistant/Office Manager for 15 years with special emphasis on client education. She has been successfully breeding Bulldogs for the past 12 years and prior to that, bred Rottweilers. Her breeding accomplishments include: Breeder of the GM Beckett Award Winner, Hailey, who is the mother of the 1997 #1 Bulldog. She is currently pursuing her judging license. ICSB-MCA utilizes the technologies developed by Prof. Carrol Platz, of ICSB Oregon. Through 30 years of research, Prof. Platz has successfully developed this technique for collection, evaluation and freezing of canine semen. Litters have been produced from frozen semen that has been stored for 28 years prior to thawing and insemination at ICSB! Under his direction, this research continues and provides the dog breeder with the most successful program available using fresh, fresh chilled, and frozen canine semen and artificial insemination. As a full service mobile laboratory, we offer the following convenient services: Collection, evaluation, and freezing of canine semen at the dog breeder's kennel, veterinary clinics, and dog shows. DNA testing for typing and identification, both AKC and paternity testing. Assistance with fresh and cooled semen breedings. Artificial insemination services, products, and supplies. Progesterone testing and consultations about your breeding needs. Ultrasound for pregnancy checks!!!! We also offer fresh cooled extended semen kits for transporting your semen. This technique allows the bitch owner the convenience and safety of having semen shipped directly to them instead of shipping their bitch to the stud dog. Another first for ICSB! Research exclusive to ICSB has provided us with a successful program for the recovery, freezing and artificial insemination of canine sperm cells from the testes of dogs that have died or have been neutered.
